Tell her exactly how you are feeling. Maybe she doesn't realize the torment she is causing your heart! It sounds to me like she'd be lucky to have you. After talking to her openly and honestly, maybe she'll give the go-ahead. If not, let her know that there must be boundaries. If you two are not going to be an actual committed couple, then doing things like bf/gf will only compound your heartache. If she's not going to give it her all, then let her know what is and is not ok as far as behavior and conversation. I know it's tough, but as long as your honest you know that you're doing your best to either see it to an actual relationship, or keep it just friends.
