Sky vs. Virgin Media vs. BT Vision? which would be more suitable for me?

Sky has more channels but terrible broadband speeds in most places. Virgin has less channels but good speeds. Sky is cheaper than Virgin and you can have Sky HD anywhere now whereas not everywhere for Virgin HD. BT has good speed and I think is pay as you watch so if you don't watch a lot but has limited channels in comparison to the other two ( but lets be honest who watches the 500 random shopping or religion channels on Sky anyway?)
