Comparatively, did any other deity also die for the sins of the people like Jesus?

There's an african god named Bumba, who is the creation god of vomit. That seems pretty unique to me, although his uniqueness does however in no way mean that he exists. Likewise it doesn't imply that Jesus is the true god just because it's claimed that he did the unique act of dying for our sins and redeeming us.
