My dr. recently took me off of theophyline which I had been taking 200mg timed release twice a day since?

November ovf 2010. It was working for my breathing (emphysema) but I was having all kinds of nasty side effects and they kept gettting worse. Extreme shakiness, nausea, loss of appetite, hair loss, constant dry mouth and numbness in my lips, jaws and throat. I am wondering if anyone else experienced any of these things and how long did they last after you quit taking it. My dr. says the theophyline should be out of my system in 21/2 days.I am wondering how long I will keep having the effects that were caused by the theophyline.
