Should I tell him I like him?

well, Obviously I'm a girl, I'm straight but not experienced with relationships. He's my closes friend almost for a year now and we've been hanging out alone for quit some time. We talk about random stuff, about our selves, family, friends, life, our thoughts even awkward stuff that is not normal conversation topics ANYWAYS.. I kind of like him cause he's the only guy I've been this close and open to.. he told me he's kind of a HOMOPHOBE and about he's past relationships.. but just recently he told me he's deepest secret.. He admits he's Bisexual.. I couldn't react cause I already fell for him.. but I'm not losing hope...cause he goes both ways right? I wanna know if it's the right thing to do, to confess.. who knows he fell for me to.. I need your opinion and thoughts.. THANKS
