600W Corsair PSU quit working after a bad storm, is there any way to fix it, what can i do?

I know its the psu for a fact. I took my graphic card out and all the extra stuff like fans and such. And had too hook up my old 220w psu. My computer is running fine on the 220w psu. But i can't play any of my games and such without a more powerful psu. It was working fine last night, and i got woke up by a bad storm and decided i would go on my computer. It turned on for about 30 seconds and then shut off. After that i tried turning it on and the most that would happen is the fans would turn on for about a second then back off. I'm kinda pissed off as i just bought the psu about 2 weeks ago...
