Is it risky to continue to smoke cigarettes if I quit In a few years?

I'm 15 and I smoke cigarettes. (like a pack or two a week) is it that risky to keep doing it If I can quit before I finish high school? Cuz I don't wanna be the only one not smoking when I'm with friends and I love to smoke anyways.
