Chicken keeping advice?

Hiya, we are planning on getting a couple of chickens when we get hold of a coop..found the chickens they are hybrids and 18 weeks old not started laying yet but can't get any till we have the coop doh. nyway wondered if anyone could share any advice as we are new to chicken keeping,although have experience with other pets. Things that come to mind are : do they need regular worming and with wha how often how oftent,do we need mite powder or wh do we use that etc etc ever it is,any tips u have would be appreciated as want happy healthy chickens and lots of s lol :) Thanks in advance to all who take time to offer advicewe have fou
