If I cut my hair, will it hurt?

I've gotten my hair cut before, but I was considering cutting it myself for my wedding. I don't care what my fiancee thinks about it. Cuz we need to save some money. Cuz we have three kids, and all that stuff and she is expecting another baby the day after our wedding.So, back to the original question, if I cut my own hair, will it hurt? And what kinds of scissors should I use? Because the play doh one's my son has wont cut hair, so don't suggest those. Umm, please answer, and what not.
